If you're burned out on guay tiaow noodle soup and need a cheap departure from the norm, Yatai sells Japanese style ramen for as little as 40 baht. They have a full array of other Japanese dishes, like salmon steak bentou boxes and a full sushi menu, but if you're looking for more than just a bowl of super cheap ramen you're better off somewhere like Tsunami or Sushi Jiro. Yatai has two locations, one on Huay Kaew between Nimmanhaemin and the Canal and another in Malin Plaza across from CMU's north gate.
