Suthep/Lang Maw food market

This is probably the biggest and best food market in Chiang Mai. Lang Maw (หลังมอ) refers to the back of CMU, and every night but Wednesday the whole kilometer of Suthep road from the Canal to the CMU gate is lined with stalls selling every type of food imaginable. Highlights include street sushi, kanom jiin and some wicked meat on a stick. The pickup truck near the gate at the end does an excellent kai jeaw dao, which is an omelette with one of the yolks intact. There are a good number of brick-and-mortar restaurants on the opposite side of CMU as well.
