Sushi Jiro doesn't have as interesting a menu as Tsunami (no spider rolls!) and it's a bit more expensive, but the food is better and close to what you'd get in Japan (the multitude of old Japanese men hitting on the waitresses speaks to its authenticity). Hint: tekkadon has the same amount of fish as the sashimi, but it's cheaper because they use pieces that are too small or badly cut to be presentable. It tastes exactly the same. This goes for any Japanese restaurant anywhere, but the price difference is especially striking at Sushi Jiro.
