Khao Soi Nimman

Khao Soi Nimman is a trendy answer to Chiang Mai's signature dish. Their khao soi is good and they offer a wider variety than anywhere else - breaded fried pork, mushrooms, omelets, along with other Northern Thai and some Isaan food - but it's also twice as expensive as the more down-to-earth places. It's a nice place to stop if you're in the Nimman area or you have a lot of people and want to order a variety of dishes, but if you're looking for "authentic" khao soi you're better off stopping at Lampang Lert Rot in the Old City. Also next to a nice little cafe called Coffee Bar.
